FNPC has products and services to bring about change through policy and program analysis, evaluation, development, and advocacy training.
Advocacy Tools
Advocacy resources provide step-by-step guidance on effective advocacy, from developing a plan, identifying key influencers, helping clients understand advocacy versus lobbying, and crafting and delivering effective and concise messages.
Six Rules to Effective Advocacy
(pdf file)
Essential elements to becoming an effective advocate. Generally accompanied by a presentation expanding on the rules.

Action Plans
Action Plans include actions and strategies for key stakeholders to drive change. Effective action plans provide strategies for target audiences and can be large scale to include national approaches – to smaller scale with a more narrow focus. Plans vary based on the client, changes desired, and target audiences.
Best Practices
Best Practices are programs, initiatives or activities which are considered leading edge, or exceptional models for others to follow.
FNPC has collected additional Best Practices to be included in the CDC Making it Happen tool. (Note: FNPC was not involved in this initial CDC publication) and success stories for local and school-based physical education programs.
